What’s Wrong With Tennessee

I hate to agree with the yackity yacks at ESPN, but I heard something over the weekend that rang true – no leadership from within the team. Of late, none of these players have stepped up to be the driving force within the team. Even worse, this has spread over the past ten years. ESPN just confirmed what I already knew.

I wonder though, since my life philosophy has been “lead by example”, could this be a reflection on the head coach? Something I’ve heard a number of times has been the disservice the NCAA did when they eliminated the athletic dorms. It makes sense, how can you bond and grow as a team if you are spread out all over the place? How can you help make sure other players are towing the line if you can’t keep an eye on them?

The button the Auburn fans were wearing kind of says it all, we’re heading to Rocky Bottom.
